"Perfection is not attainable.  But if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence."
~Vince Lombardi

I am excited to work with you child this year.  My vision for your child is that they will become a creative, inquisitive, successful student with a strong work ethic.  They will be challenged and learn to face those challenges with confidence.

A little about myself...

I attended the University of Tennessee-Knoxville for my undergraduate degree, which is a BS in Microbiology.  I worked in the medical field until I went back to graduate school.  While working in the medical field, I was a volunteer with The Pencil Foundation in Nashville, tutoring 4th-6th graders in Math and Science.  I received my Master of Education in Elementary Education/Curriculum and Instruction from MTSU in 2013 and have been teaching for two and a half years now.

I am originally from Henderson, TN - a small town in West TN near Jackson.  I've lived in Nashville for the past ten years and have been married for five years.  I have three cats- Se7en, Jewels, and Lexee.  My favorite colors are teal and magenta.  I love watching movies, reading. crocheting and making soap.
