Lynn Smith, Interventionist

Hello My Name Is...

Ms. Lynn Smith

A day at one of Tennessee's State Parks.

I am so glad you stopped by to read my school web page.  I am an Academic Interventionist at Black Fox Elementary (BFE).  I have been at Black Fox since 2009.  I started teaching in 1997, at Reeves-Rogers Elementary as a 6th grade teacher.  Because two of my own children struggled with reading in school, teaching reading has become my passion and focus.

I am native to Rutherford County.  I attended Rockvale Elementary and Riverdale High School.  I played basketball for both schools.  I was on the Riverdale Girls Basketball Team that FIRST went to the TSSAA State Championship where we were runners-up.  I lived on a working farm and still live 2 miles from where I grew-up in the little community of Midland.  I have four beautiful granddaughters:  Abby, Ashtyn, Anyston, and Lorelei.  I dote on them every chance I get.  Hope you enjoyed getting to know me a little bit.
