Tiffany Strevel
Dear Black Fox families,
It is an honor to be part of the Black Fox community and serve as principal of Black Fox Elementary. In 1997, I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Tennessee Technological University. My first two years of teaching were spent at Beaumont Elementary School in Knoxville, TN. After moving to Murfreesboro, I returned to teaching at Scales Elementary and then opened Overall Creek Elementary. During this time, I received my Masters in Educational Leadership from Lipscomb University. After receiving my Masters, I served as Assistant Principal at Mitchell-Neilson Primary and Cason Lane Academy.
As the educational leader at Black Fox Elementary, I am passionate about building relationships with stakeholders, creating safe, challenging, and fun learning environments where teachers and students thrive, and meeting the needs of the whole child. I believe that parent and community involvement are essential to a successful school and that with a support system in place students can and will succeed.
In life, we have many titles. While being principal of Black Fox Elementary is a title I am proud of, I am also proud to be a wife of 27 years, mom of two young ladies, a first time Honey (grandma), and a dog mom. As I begin year seven as principal, I look forward to continuing the legacy of Black Fox Elementary, the strong collaborations that are part of the Black Fox experience, as well as building new relationships.
Best regards,
Tiffany Strevel

Dear Black Fox families,
I graduated from University of Tennessee with a degree in Special Education. I received my Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University.
I taught in the Alcoa City school system before I moved to Murfreesboro and began teaching in Murfreesboro City Schools.
I came to Black Fox Elementary as the Assistant Principal in 2004. Serving in this role for the past 20 years has allowed me the opportunity to build strong relationships with the students, parents, faculty, staff and the community.
I am committed to the growth of every child at Black Fox.
Best regards,
