History
Black Fox Elementary opened its doors in 1990 and recently celebrated 30 years of excellence in education. Black Fox Elementary is a PK-6th grade school serving over 850 students. As a staff, we are focused on meeting the needs of the whole child and pride ourselves on providing services and interventions that support the academic, social, and emotional needs of all students. In 2018-2019, Black Fox was recognized as a Tennessee Department of Education Reward School. In 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 Black Fox Elementary was selected as a Tennessee Silver Level Model of Demonstration School for Response to Instruction and Intervention for Behavior (RTI2B). While we are proud of these accomplishments, we are most proud of the diversity represented throughout our building and the strong community that has been established over the years. We are a school dedicated to showing up, dreaming big, and making a difference.
