History
Black Fox Elementary opened its doors in 1990 and has celebrated over 30 years of excellence in education. Black Fox Elementary is a PK-6th grade school serving over 875 students. As a staff, we are focused on meeting the needs of the whole child and pride ourselves on providing services and interventions that support the academic, social, and emotional needs of all students. In 2018-2019 and again in 2022-2023, Black Fox was recognized as a Tennessee Department of Education Reward School. Black Fox was also named a Level 5 school for 2020-2021, 2021-2022, and 2022-2023 and in 2022, was named a Tennessee STEM Designated School. While we are proud of these accomplishments, we are most proud of the diversity represented throughout our building and the strong community that has been established over the years. We are a school dedicated to showing up, dreaming big, and making a difference.
