Tennessee Music Education Association has named Kathy Waldecker as an Outstanding Music Educator, honoring her exceptional leadership and lasting impact on young musicians.
Mrs. Waldecker has inspired thousands of beginning band students across Murfreesboro City Schools. Her bands have shared their music with the community, from school events and board meetings to nursing homes and public gatherings.
A champion for innovative arts experiences, she collaborates closely with related arts teams and played a key role in launching the annual MCS Honor Band.
